What is the difference between counselling and coaching?
Counselling focuses on past trauma and emotional difficulties.
The counsellor is there to help the client to overcome past-oriented problems. Counselling typically focuses on discovering WHY the problem exists.
Coaching uses direct questioning to assist a client in moving towards their goals, desires and outcomes. Coaching is future-oriented and focuses on HOW the client can achieve their goals.
My approach is eclectic and solution focused and will be adapted to best suit your needs. I offer a platform to explore how your thoughts and language affect your behaviour and emotions, to empower you to become the creator of your future.
